Privacy Policy

This policy explains what FORGE by Coach Fe ("FORGE", "we", "us") collects, why, and the choices you have. FORGE is provided by Fitness Grind and Performance [legal entity and address, to be completed]. Questions: [email protected].

The short version

• We do not sell your personal information.
• Health data from Apple Health or Health Connect is used only to run features for you. It is never used for advertising and never sold.
• Progress photos are private by default. Only you can see them unless you choose to share one.
• You can delete your account and data at any time. See how to delete your account.

What we collect

• Account: your email address (used for sign-in codes) and the display name you choose.
• Profile: goal, training level, equipment, injuries or limits you enter, training days, bodyweight, units, nutrition mode and message preferences.
• Training and nutrition logs: workouts, sets, weights, reps, scores, meals, water, challenge check-ins, Forge Points, ranks and badges.
• Body composition: weight, body-fat percentage and measurements you enter.
• Progress photos: see the section below.
• Health data (optional): see the section below.
• Purchases: subscription status from Apple, Google or our web payment processor. We never receive or store your full card number.
• Coach Fe AI requests: the text you send plus a short summary of your profile and recent training, so the response fits you.
• Technical: device type, operating system, app version, and crash and diagnostic data.
• Website: this site uses no advertising trackers. If you open a referral link, the referral code is saved in your browser's local storage so the app can apply it. It is not sent to us by this website.

Health data (Apple Health and Health Connect)

Connecting Apple Health (iOS) or Health Connect (Android) is optional and you can disconnect at any time in your device settings. If you connect, FORGE may read steps, active calories, sleep, workouts and weight, and may write workouts and weight that you log in FORGE.

• Health data is used only to provide FORGE features to you, such as your stats, challenge progress and logging.
• It is not used for advertising or marketing, is not sold, and is not shared with data brokers.
• It is not used to train AI models.
• It is shared only with the service providers listed below, only as needed to run FORGE, and under contracts that restrict their use of it.

Some U.S. states (for example Washington's My Health My Data Act) give you additional rights over consumer health data. [Attorney to complete state-specific disclosures.]

Progress photos

Progress photos are private by default. They are stored in the app's private storage on your device and, if you are signed in, in a private cloud storage bucket that only your account can access. If you are a Coaching client, your assigned coach can view them. Photos are never used for advertising or to train AI models. A photo leaves your account only when you choose to put it on a share card and share it.

AI-generated content

Coach Fe AI sends your request and a short profile summary to AI model providers to generate workouts, meal plans and answers. We instruct providers not to use this data to train their models where that option is available. Don't include other people's personal information in your requests. AI output can be wrong; see the Health Disclaimer.

How we use your information

To provide and personalize FORGE; sync your data across devices; generate AI workouts and nutrition estimates; run challenges, leaderboards and referrals; process subscriptions; respond to support requests; keep the service secure; and comply with the law.

Service providers

We use processors to run FORGE, including: Supabase (database, sign-in and storage), RevenueCat (subscription management), Apple and Google (app stores, in-app purchases and notifications), a web payment processor for web purchases [to be named], AI model providers used by Coach Fe AI, Crossway ESV API (scripture text; receives only verse references), USDA FoodData Central and Open Food Facts (food search; receive only search text or barcodes), Expo/EAS (app builds and updates), and our website host. Sharing

We do not sell or rent personal information. Share cards are created on your device and leave it only when you share them. Leaderboards show your display name and score. We may disclose information if the law requires it or to protect the safety of users.

Subscriptions and payments

Subscriptions bought in the app are processed by Apple or Google under their privacy policies. Subscriptions bought on the web are processed by our payment processor. We receive your subscription status and limited transaction details, not your full payment card details.

Retention and account deletion

We keep your data while your account is active. You can delete your account in the app or by request; see Support. Deletion removes your account, logs, photos, points and profile from our systems. Backups roll off within [30] days. Some records (such as purchase records) may be kept longer where the law requires. Deleting your account does not cancel an App Store or Google Play subscription; cancel that in your store settings.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, export or delete your data, and to object to or restrict certain processing. Email [email protected]. We will not discriminate against you for exercising your rights. [Attorney to complete GDPR / UK GDPR / CCPA-CPRA sections.]

Children

FORGE is intended for adults 18 and older and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13 (or 16 where applicable).

Security

We use encryption in transit, row-level security so each user can access only their own data, private storage for photos, and server-side handling of all API keys. No system is perfectly secure, so use a sign-in email you control.
